"Attached please find a couple of pictures of the project I just finished; I worked on the Platform Bed for my son for the last few months. The Platform is made of Pine, Cedar, and Poplar woods. The slats are an Ikea Lônset slatted bed base. The finish is 4 coats of natural Vagabond Citrus Thinned Tung Oil; with a hand-rubbed Beeswax•Carnuba•Mineral Oil wax. The platform will be topped with a 5" Natural Wool & Organic Cotton Japanese Shikibuton Futon, Coconut Coir Mattress Pad, and Organic Cotton sheets. I think my son will enjoy it; it was a fun project."
